Can the creditor put a travel ban on me?
I am the managing director of a company. A creditor is threatening to put a travel ban on me. I have not issued a cheque to this creditor.
Can he really put a travel ban on me?

A person can be banned from travelling when he fails to pay a debt to individual or bank. A travel ban can be imposed on the debtor if the creditor opens a lawsuit against the debtor before the court and requests the judge to prevent the debtor from travelling.
