You can tell the property owner about the current circumstances and reach a friendly agreement with him that allows you to cancel the contract.

Dear questioner,

You can speak with the landlord and tell him about your current situation. However, usually, for early termination, there is a penalty stipulated in your tenancy contract.

So in case the landlord will not accept to reach any settlement with you, you will have to pay the penalty mentioned in the tenancy contract (if there is any).

Best regards,

Early termination should be mutually agreed between the Tenant and the Landlord.

Thus, approach the Landlord and explain your situation and inability to continue to avoid the penalty, because the Tenancy agreement can't be terminated before its expiry date and, anyway, you have to send the Landlord a notice that you will not renew the Tenancy contract.

Thank you, Mazen.

I will just send him my non-renewal notice now.

If you will terminate now, still you will be obliged to pay compensation.

Usually, it's 3 months' rent.
