Checking a travel ban and absconding case before returning to Dubai

Hello.

I just want to ask about my status in the UAE. I left Dubai without the permission of my boss because of a family emergency.

I left Dubai 3 months ago (December 2019) and as per PRO they (employer) already filed the absconding case on me.

Now I want to come back to the UAE. Will I have a problem at the airport?

Dear Questioner,

If the former employer filed an absconding case against you, you will be caught in the airport once you land.

I suggest you to hire a lawyer to check first the status of your case and to see if there are any other cases filed against you and then to release your name from the wanted list.

I checked my visa status and it's showing active as the employer didn't cancel my visa.

In case you are 100% sure of the accuracy of the information and you know that your employer did not file an absconding case against you, then you should not face any issues.

However, in your situation, I would perform a travel ban checking just to be 100% sure that this is the case.
