Visa cancellation and exiting the country in case of travel ban
Hi,
I have been overstaying in the country due to a police case and now my company wants to cancel my visa. I finished the police case but still have a travel ban.
My company is saying after cancellation, I need to exit or else they will file an absconding case. There is no way to exit as there is a travel ban.
What are my options as I do not want to face an absconding case?
Thanks

Dear Questioner,
Can you please provide us with more details about your criminal case? In which way you finished the case?
A criminal case is finished when there is a final verdict issued which is either fine, deportation or jail.
The only option to avoid the absconding case is to give them the passport to cancel your visa and leave the country (if your name is not on the travel ban list), or find another job.
First I would suggest you hire a lawyer to see exactly the stage of your criminal case and why your name is still on the blacklist.
In case you need our support, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you.
