Visa cancellation and exiting the country in case of travel ban

Hi,

I have been overstaying in the country due to a police case and now my company wants to cancel my visa. I finished the police case but still have a travel ban.

My company is saying after cancellation, I need to exit or else they will file an absconding case. There is no way to exit as there is a travel ban.

What are my options as I do not want to face an absconding case?

Thanks

Dear Questioner,

Can you please provide us with more details about your criminal case? In which way you finished the case?

A criminal case is finished when there is a final verdict issued which is either fine, deportation or jail.

The only option to avoid the absconding case is to give them the passport to cancel your visa and leave the country (if your name is not on the travel ban list), or find another job.

First I would suggest you hire a lawyer to see exactly the stage of your criminal case and why your name is still on the blacklist.

In case you need our support, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you.

I finished the case by paying a fine, however, another bank has filed a civil case against me with a travel ban.

I will need to do a visa run in order to change my status in the country, but with a travel ban, how can I do this?

I’m really confused and need help

Dear Questioner,

If you have travel ban issued under your name, you cannot process your visa and you cannot enter the UAE (if you are living abroad) or you cannot exit UAE (if you live in the UAE) because you will be caught by the immigration.

If you wish, we can perform a travel ban checking for you and see exactly all your criminal cases filed under your name.

In case you wish to proceed, please email me at rg@elnaggarlegal.com
