My cousin is in the central jail of Al Awir since October 2024 till date 20/03/25. She has 6 different penal cases all judgements are done, last one was done yesterday. In total, she has a fine of about 135000, 1 month in jail, and deportation in 1 case. How will this be calculated moving forward? Also she has spent time in different police station detentions from 23rd May 2024 till October including 48 days or so in Ras al Khaima.

Good Morning, Due to the global pandemic, Hotels and Tourism business is majorly effected and that resulted in my 50% salary reduction for the month of March, April 2020. I am not sure if I might get paid these coming months as well. My wife is a Cabin Crew and is effected with the same salary reduction scenario and due to no flights assigned is getting paid only 20% of the actual she was earning before the Covid-19 outbreak. I politely requested my landlord to either decrease rent for the month my salary will be effected or extend the tenancy contract free of charge for a few months, that will ease my financial burden for the Year 2020. A labor court judgment was ruled in my favor (I'm an employee) in December 2019, against my ex-employer, for nonpayment of salaries, expense claims, and gratuity. Unfortunately, they still haven't settled my dues. Worse, the owners left the country and the company no longer exists in its physical form; there is only a legal structure. They do not have any assets either. Does it make sense to still seek judgment execution? Also, are there any provisions to pursue the execution order in their present country of residence?

Hi, I need some guidance regarding a property transaction that is not progressing as expected. My broker initiated a manual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between me (the Buyer) and the Seller, with an expiry date of 01/02/2025. Within this period, I successfully arranged the bank mortgage, property evaluation, and NOC. However, the broker started giving excuses, such as the seller being hospitalized. Later, the broker attempted to arrange a Power of Attorney (POA). However, after that, they started ignoring my messages and calls. It now seems like they no longer intend to proceed with me, and the MOU has already expired. Meanwhile, my bank EMI has already started, and I have paid two monthly installments. The broker is still unresponsive. I have raised multiple complaints through DLD RVS against the broker, but the response has been very slow and unsatisfactory. I’m feeling stuck and financially burdened. Please advise

Just two months ago, the contractor went off the grid, and I can't find him.
