Civil case for the recovery of funds due to non-performance of contract
A Sharjah based firm for an Indian issued a proforma invoice and collected on 16.12.2016.
But he neither supplied scrap material nor is he responding to my client's calls.
I am an Indian lawyer. My client is based in Chennai India. what is the procedure?

Hello Dear,
This may be very difficult for me to respond more accurately and advise you with such precise information.
Being a lawyer yourself, you must have an idea about important documents that one must have in order to prepare and file a case against anyone.
You may file a civil case against this Sharjah based company if you have an agreement in place, there is purchase order that was issued for the purchase of scrap material, proof of the transfer of funds, email correspondence, and so forth.
Please provide me with all the related documents to asses the facts and legal grounds to respond more appropriately.

Hi there,
Was the deal signed in the UAE or internationally? Do you have any contract for the same?
Was the scrap supposed to be delivered locally or shipped to India? Kindly provide complete details on sudhanshu@alnassaradvocates.com or feel free to reach me directly on 00971523782456.
Thanks,
