Appealing a criminal case judgement to avoid stronger punishment

My sister tried to take 40 items from [----] retail on Friday. She was in custody since then and now she is sentenced for 1-month imprisonment and deportation.

This has been the judgement of the local police station. This is the first case ever with her, no criminal record of any type before.

Is this judgement temporary or can anyone make it worse before this is finished?

Dear client,

You can file for an appeal within 15 days after the judgment of the first instance.

If the appeal court judge changes the judgment, your sister can come out of jail.
