Cancellation of employment visa when there are pending cases
Hello Team
I just finished two years in my job and at the time of cancellation, I came to know that there are a couple of cases.
Now the company wants to do an absconding case as they said they are not able to cancel the visa.
Is there any solution with the employer instead of going the absconding route?
Thanks.
Dear questioner
We can definitely help you in this case.
Ask your employer to give you some time so that you can finish your case.
Kindly contact us on the phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.

Dear Questioner,
In case you are still in the UAE, they can cancel your visa without filing an absconding case against you.
In case you are outside the UAE, they cannot cancel your visa without having your original passport and the only option for them to cancel your visa is by filing the absconding case.
Kindly note that once there is an absconding case filed against you, you cannot travel in or out of the UAE because you will be caught by the police.
I suggest you speak with your employer to cancel your visa without filing an absconding case. In case they rejected your request, I suggest you open a labour case against them.
Please note that in order to be able to file a labour case, you need to claim some entitlements which have not been provided by the company (eg: end of service gratuity, last salary, notice period salary, vacation leave...etc).
In case you need our support, please feel free to contact me at the email.

Raluca Gatina.
