Q: Agency will file absconding against a visit visa Dear Sir/Madam, I have sponsored my nephew’s visit visa. His visa expired since Nov 25. The employer already showed me an entry permit of my nephew. But, the agency is still calling me that they will file an absconding case. Can they do that? As I understand, the visa status has not changed. What would be the impact to all these? If the agency files an absconding case, who will settle the fine? What happens with the entry permit the employer already filed? What best should be done? Appreciate your clarification

I paid him the amount, but the employer didn't apply for my visa and went to his country. I filed a case against him in the court, but he didn't come to the court after he returned to Dubai. The main problem was that I had given him my original passport, and that's why I didn't exit the country. After 10 months, I went to Al Aweer jail and I took exit without paying overstay fine. I had given fingerprint and eye scan also. Now, I want to come back on partner visa and I want to know if I can come on that visa or not. If you help me on this matter, I will be very thankful to you.

Q: Hello, I have an Indian friend. he lived in Dubai for three years and when he was exiting, he knew that he overstayed in Dubai for 3 years. He had a visa that was valid for only one month. When he decided to go back to India, the immigration officer said that he should pay a fine (big amount) or he gets banned. He did not have such an amount of money so they scanned his eyes, then he left. Anyway, one year has passed since he left Dubai and he wants to re-enter Dubai because he has a job opportunity (with a working visa ). Is there a problem? I want to know how much he should pay to Dubai government to remove the ban.

Q: Good evening, sir! I am Filipino. I got deported last Friday (Oct/18) due to my nine-day overstay and got deported to the Philippines. After my cancellation from my previous company (Sept/5), I found a recruitment agency that wanted to hire me as a shadow teacher for special needs and promised to process my visa so they took my passport. But they just kept my passport and didn't process my visa until I became overstay. Last Sunday (Oct/13), I was caught by the CID on the bus and they directly put me in jail. The next morning, they brought me to Um Al Queen Emigration and took the eye scan. I was trying to explain my side but they didn't listen. I didn't get any justice. I'm just a victim of the company which didn't keep its words. I still believe that there is someone who can help me to fix my problem and come back again to the UAE.
