س: السلام عليكم، شخص يتعامل مع شركات تأمين وأرسلت له مبلغ إصدار تأمين صحي لي مع صورة الهوية والإقامة ولكن تم تزوير مستنداتي وتغيير تاريخ الميلاد وإضافتي في عقد عمل غير صحيح حتى يحصل على سعر منخفض ويستفيد من باقي المبلغ الذي سددته له. لا أعلم من قام بالتزوير؛ الشخص نفسه أم شخص آخر له صلة بشركة التأمين فأنا لم أستفد من هذا التأمين. ماذا أفعل لإرجاع مالي؟ وهل أطلب تعويض مادي من هذا الشخص أو شركة التأمين؟ وما قيمته؟

Q: I went to MOFA back in 2017 to have my documents attested. I am confident because I did really graduate from the university but what I didn't really do myself is the attestation of my documents. Since I was already in the UAE, I asked someone to have my documents get attested. To my surprise, the officer told me that I will have to go to jail because the UAE stamp was fake. God is good it was late in the afternoon and it was Ramadan, so they let me go and ask that I go to Abu Dhabi after the Ramadan holiday. I immediately flew out of the UAE before any possible case is filed. Now, my question is will I still be able to go back to the UAE as a tourist? I just want to travel and not to work again. Is it possible that MOFA has filed a case against me even if I wasn't there and I was only holding a tourist visa during that time? How can I find out? How can I have the case lifted if there is? Can I have it lifted by submitting the authentic documents and while I am outside of the UAE?

Q: FORGED SIGNATURE ON LABOUR CANCELLATION The labour card/work permit of my friend was cancelled without his knowledge. He learnt that he was cancelled when he checked in Tasheel Centre. This is very clear that his employer forged his signature on the Labour Cancellation Application. How to file a complaint and where he will report it, directly to the police or through MOHRE?

There are always conditions where people may fail to provide sufficient documents of a certain business or project they are willing to engage in, so they tend to commit an act of forgery with their documents to meet the requirements. But this act is a crime and it has consequences in law which we will try to cover in this article.

This Law promulgates the Federal Penal Code (Criminal Law) of the United Arab Emirates. Crimes and chastisement punishments shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of this Law and other penal codes.

The law promulgates UAE Criminal Procedural Law (Penal Procedures Law) which governs criminal procedures in the UAE. This law applies to the procedures relating to offences whose punishments are not specified, dogma and punitive offences, and blood money, if they do not violate the Sharia rules.
