Assistance with obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate in the UAE

Hi,

I am a Malaysian applying for USA immigration visa. I lived in Abu Dhabi between 2011 to 2014. Returned the Emirates ID and insurance card to the employer after I left.

Now, I'm having great difficulty in getting any help to apply for the Police Clearance Certificate without the Emirates ID.

Please, I need some help.

Dear Questioner,

In order to apply for a Police Clearance Certificate, you need to upload a copy of your emirates ID.

In case you don't have a copy of it, you will have to hire a lawyer with a power of attorney to submit the fingerprints documents that you will have to provide.

The fingerprint should be for all your 10 fingers and needs to be attested in the UAE Embassy from the country of issuance.

In case you need our support, please feel free to contact me by email.

Best regards,

Raluca Gatina

Thank you,

I will make arrangements to get my fingerprints ASAP in Malaysia. Will contact you once I manage to get it attested here.

Dear Questioner,

I can help you with the submission of the fingerprints only if you issue a POA to us. I can provide you with a draft of it.

You will have to notarize it and attest it in the UAE Embassy together with the fingerprints.

Once attested, you will have to courier the original to our office together with two recent passport-sized photographs, a copy of your valid passport, a copy of your last UAE visa, the reason for the application.

Please note that the fingerprints should be taken at any police station and should be a fingerprint of all your 10 fingers rolled from left to right or right to left.

That's great, I have downloaded the fingerprint form from the Dubai police website, so no need for palm prints only 10 fingers?

Can you send me the POA I have to make travel plans to head to the embassy as it is 4 hours away by car?

Dear questioner,

Yes, you need fingerprints for all 10 fingers (make sure that you will roll them).

In order for us to draft the POA, I need a copy of your passport and visa page and to have a mandate agreement for this job.

Once we will receive the original fingerprints and POA (notarized and attested) we need to attest them here, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to be valid.

We will have to charge for the following services:

- drafting the POA

- attesting the POA and finger print in the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs

- applying for the Police Clearance Certificate

- submitting the finger prints to the CID department

- following up with the CID department on the issuance of the Police Clearance Certificate.

If you wish to proceed, please send me your passport copy and visa page on my email and we'll discuss the fee.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Thank you.

Best regards,
