Termination of an employee during probation without reason

I started a new job on 22 May. I was asked to have my degree attested which I did by sending it back to the UK and then returned to Dubai and attested here.

On 14 June I signed my employment contract and was led to believe that they were processing my visa.

On 30th June I was fired with no proper reason and another person was hired who replaced me the following day.

My question is; is this legal?

An employment contract, whether limited or unlimited can be terminated without notice period by either party in accordance with the UAE Labour Law.

An employer can terminate an employment contract without notice and deprive the employee of his end of service gratuity if the latter:

- Is appointed under a probationary period and the dismissal occurred during or at the end of the said period for you are under a probationary period.

Thank you for your quick reply.

It's appalling that a company can fire for no reason, it seems the employee has no rights and companies can do what they want with no recourse.

Good luck my friend, try to find a good job for you. Don't stop. Life continues.
