Can a company terminate an employee during probation without a valid reason?
Dear Sir/Madam,
Can a company terminate any employee during the probation period without any valid reason?
It happened to me; they don't have any valid reason but still state that we have the right to terminate you without any valid or non-valid reason. Is it really true?
Please answer!
Dear Sir/Madam,
Under the provisions of Article 9 of Labor Law No.33 of 2021, the employer has the legal right to terminate an employee's service during the probation period.
Dear questioner,
The employer may terminate the worker after notifying the worker of the same in writing at least (14) fourteen days before the date specified for termination of service.
However, if the worker feels it is arbitrary or a kind of scam, you can file a case in MOHRE.

Hi,
In the UAE, during the probation period, an employer can terminate an employee without providing a valid reason.
However, the employer must notify the employee in writing at least 14 days before the termination of service.
This is in accordance with Article 9 (1) of the UAE labor law. The probation period is a critical time during which both the employer and the employee assess the suitability of the employment relationship.
However, if you have evidence and reason to believe it is an arbitral dismissal, you can file a complaint in MOHRE.
