Q: Dear Sir/ Maam, The issue is that we purchased a10-year travel plan worth 34000 AED with an agency and became a platinum member. However, up until now we have not received our loyalty kit (our log-in to the system) in order for us to use the product and services. According to the contract signed 19th of May, this should be given withing 2 weeks. We were very unsatisfied with their services and since they haven't given any product or we haven't used any of it yet, we opt to have the amount refunded and waived off the 2 nights stay in Bangkok which was given regardless of we join or not. However, in their contract that we signed, it is non-refundable. Could they really do this? Or is there still any way that we can have that 34k refunded?

I paid their fees plus an amount which they said is an investment in business and to be returned in a year's time. Now both my contact people are not responding to me messages and calls. Q: Hi all, An immigration consultancy cheated me in the UAE. They told me that within 6 months I would be in Canada with my family, and for that, they charged me AED 13800. Eight years have gone and there are no results, and they neither answer my phone nor return my money. Now I saw in the contract that they gave me to sign that all payments made are non-refundable. They have committed fraud, they did not provide any service to me nor they informed me that the payment that I made is nonrefundable. They first took the money then they gave me the contract to sign. Q: My husband & I applied to migration services hoping to have a chance to work in Canada. After months of waiting, we decided to withdraw our application & refund the money as per the contract. We need to wait for 24 weeks before we can claim. 1-Jun-22 is our schedule but till now 18-May-23, we didn’t receive it. They always send emails to reschedule the refund. Since we are going on vacation, we consider collecting whatever recovery they have which is 2500 each but then they send an email saying that we have only 2000. I replied & corrected them but instead, they sent an email saying we have only 1500. We were really losing hope as they keep on changing their statement. So when we meet in their office we record whatever promises the staff has given us but when they found out that we are recording they said all our entitlement for refunds is forfeited because of this action. A total of 8000 dirhams for both of us is due for a refund. Our only purpose in the recording is to have evidence of their promises. Thank you
