Possible legal action following the fine payment for credit card
Hi Madam,
I would like clarification to that:
A security cheque presented by the bank bounced due to the unpaid credit card dues. I have paid the penalty in the court.
Please advise whether I can resume working over here?
Will the banks follow me to pay the debts after that?

Dear Questioner,
Please note that fine payment you made to the court is not for the bank. It goes straight to the government treasury. So the banks may still approach you to make the payment.
Please note that this is a criminal offence [issuing cheque in bad faith] and you paid fine as a punishment for this offence.
Have you collected the clearance certificate after the fine payment?
The banks can file a cheque bounce case if they hold multiple cheques signed by you. However, they cannot file a case again on the same cheque.
Hope the above explanation gives more clarity to the situation.
