I got a job offer but was asked to pay visa costs. Is this legal?
Q: I got a job offer from one UAE company but I have to pay visa fees as a security which they will return after six months. They will provide me employment offer letter and at the same time I need to pay them visa fees.
I am a bit confused that the offer letter is a legally binding document to claim in future if they will not provide me the job.
Kindly help me to solve my problem. I am on a visit visa in Dubai.

I am in South Africa at the moment and applied for a Legal Advisory job. I received an offer from an LLC without an interview, and the offer letter also does not contain the landline number 9714...; instead, it is 9715...
The first offer mail was sent from a Gmail account. I questioned this with the company by sending them a mail to the address on their website being [-----.com] and asked if the offer was legitimate.
I then received a response from this e-mail that they are awaiting my signed offer. How will I know now if the offer is legitimate?

Suing a company for forging a contract and registering an employee in MOHRE fraudulently
Q: Dear Sir,
A company has presented me with an unlimited MOL job letter starting from serial number ST............. and that has been signed by me and sent over email to the company.
Someone from the company has typed a limited MOL contract starting from serial number MB......... and in this contract, he cropped my signature and pasted it in the limited contract fraudulently and submitted it to MOHRE and accordingly to that fraudulent contract, MOHRE has registered me with a limited contract.
So practically this contract is a fraudulent contract.
I want to know, if I file a case against the company for registering a contract fraudulently, then what will be the legal liability on the company and what benefits will be provided to me?

The fraudsters allegedly post jobs online or even on reputable websites like #Monster.com or #Naukrigulf.com with too good to be true salaries and unbelievable benefits. Then WITHOUT an interview or fake telephone call interview (which is never done for real jobs in the UAE) provides an offer letter which includes the names and logos of the employer with or without the UAE Embassy stamp and then asks you to pay processing or visa fee to a travel company or exchange companies. BEWARE!

The rights of a Jafza employee in case of termination during the probation period
A Jafza employee is on probation and has not completed his notice period. He is asked to leave without completion of the probation period.
The offer letter specifies that either party may leave on a single-day notice. To support the employee as per Jafza rules, will the employee qualify for any notice period pay + claim on leave credit?
The employee will not have any job in hand, in this case, how does the Jafza law protect the employee?

Travel ban and arrest warrant check before returning to the UAE
Good afternoon,
I need a legal advice:
I have an unsettled bank debt in the UAE. I have lost my job in 2017 and I was not able to pay my instalments.
After discussing with the bank, the bank agreed not to initiate any legal action against my liabilities, in order to return to the UAE to search for a job.
I got a police clearance certifying that I’m of good conduct.
My question is :
Does this clearance guarantee that there is no arrest warrant /travel ban against me?
Note: it is mentioned on the clearance: "the department is not responsible for legal rights of others".
What does it mean?

Legal opinion on the requirements of applying to a corporate loan
CASE PRESENTATION
1) A company from the UAE has a subsidiary abroad (100% of the shares).
2) The subsidiary would like to contract an investment loan and the bank is asking for a surety contract issued by the mother company.
3) A legal opinion is necessary to basically present:
3.1) Which conditions the surety contract should comply with in order for the surety contract to be valid and enforceable?
3.2) If any limitation (territorial, financial limit, time to claim, competences, signing procedure that has been followed, or any other...etc.) is present in respect of a surety contract assumed by a company from the UAE toward a foreign bank while supporting its subsidiary from abroad.
3.3) What is the legal procedure that applies when enforcing a surety contract that is a related to a subsidiary from abroad (actions / estimated cost / estimated time)?
