Resigning before completing 6 months to take another offer

Dear Mohammed Beakheet,

Hope you are doing great.

I'm employed in SAIF Free Zone on an unlimited contract for nearly 5 months with a salary of AED 20,000+.

Now I have a job offer from a Dubai mainland company with a better salary.

Can I resign from this company and take the new job without attracting any ban (MOL or employment ban)?

Or I have to wait until I complete 6 months and then resign to avoid the ban?

You can quit the job without your employer's consent, but you need to send him an official email to tell him you will leave the job, even if he refuses before 6 months are complete.

You must review your contract whether it has penal conditions or not.
