Resignation during probation and possibility of a labour ban

I'm on a limited contract.

I would like to resign from my current job and I have not completed my probation period; I have completed only 3 months.

I would like to take up a better offer in another country. Am I liable to pay anything to my employer?

Do I need to get a consent signature from my employer to get the visa cancelled?

My visa is in Dubai, UAE, a limited contract visa.

Regards,

Karthik

The date of the employment visa will be considered for your probation.

If you do not have a visa, there won't be a ban.

If you have a visa and if you did not complete one year of service, an automatic six months or one-year labour ban may be imposed by the Ministry of Labour upon request by your employer.

No employment visa shall be issued to you until the period of the ban is completed.

If you have a limited contract: you must complete one-year of service + liable to PAY compensation not work to make it up for early termination of the contract.

I'm not going to take up any employment for next 1 year in the UAE. I will be moving to Qatar. My visa is stamped.

Do I need to cancel my visa before proceeding with any Qatar visa formalities?

Please let me know.

It is better if you formally conclude your contract and cancel the visa.
