I am blacklisted in the UAE. What can I do to lift the immigration ban?
52
Q: Good Day!
I would like to seek your help for me to lift my name from the blacklist in Dubai. I actually don't have an idea what is the case, I only found out when I applied for a visa to Dubai but the security replied that my name is in the blacklisted names in Dubai.
I was in Abudhabi last time in 2004 after almost 2 years of working there. I didn't finish my contract for some few months more. I don't have any bank loans, I owe someone 800 Dhs only and that's it. Never had any criminal records or something like that.
Could you please give advice for such case on what to do or a possibility of lifting my name from the blacklist. It would be a big help for me.
Please let me know what is the process, or if you can refer to me anyone who can help me with this.
Thanks,
Raine

Checking a possible ban for unintended overstay in the UAE
29
Q: Hi Sir.
Hope you are doing well.
I came to Dubai on a visit visa in 2014. I got a job and the owner of the company asked me for money to issue the employment visa. I paid him the amount, but the employer didn't apply for my visa and went to his country.
I filed a case against him in the court, but he didn't come to the court after he returned to Dubai. The main problem was that I had given him my original passport, and that's why I didn't exit the country.
After 10 months, I went to Al Aweer jail and I took exit without paying overstay fine. I had given fingerprint and eye scan also. Now, I want to come back on partner visa and I want to know if I can come on that visa or not.
If you help me on this matter, I will be very thankful to you.

Staying in the UAE for three years without a valid visa
3
Q: Hello,
I have an Indian friend. he lived in Dubai for three years and when he was exiting, he knew that he overstayed in Dubai for 3 years.
He had a visa that was valid for only one month. When he decided to go back to India, the immigration officer said that he should pay a fine (big amount) or he gets banned.
He did not have such an amount of money so they scanned his eyes, then he left. Anyway, one year has passed since he left Dubai and he wants to re-enter Dubai because he has a job opportunity (with a working visa ).
Is there a problem? I want to know how much he should pay to Dubai government to remove the ban.

Is there a way to lift the overstay ban?

Q: Is there a way to lift the overstay ban?
I overstayed for a couple of years and I was deported after an eye scan.
I am sure the ban is lifetime but is there any way to lift the ban?
I can pay the fine or some legal fee to get this issue processed.
Please let me know!

Returning to the UAE on a family visa and lifting a ban issued due to overstaying
2
Q: Dear sir/madam,
A woman overstayed, got outpass, and exited. I went to her home country and we officially got married.
Is there any possibility to ask for a ban uplift and come on a family visa (under my visa) since we're officially married?

What to do if you received a call from a person claiming to be a lawyer 0
I received an unsolicited call on a Saturday night (6.06pm to be precise), on my mobile phone in my place of residence from a lawyer (think he's actually a partner) claiming to represent my ex-wife in a matter pertaining to a divorce agreement that was ratified in Zimbabwe at the end of August.
He threatened that the full force of his law firm will be thrown at me if I did not settle the monetary claim within 48 hours of our telephone discussion. 80% of the monetary amount in question was actually remitted that afternoon, prior to his call, which he didn't bother to inquire about.
There was no formal notification in writing that their services had indeed being retained by my ex-wife. I am not sure if he followed due process & his threats could be construed as coercion in a matter that was all but resolved.

Is it legal to discuss maintenance of a child with the employer of my ex-husband? 1
Hello.
I would like to know if it is legal or illegal to contact my ex-husband's HR dept due to his refusal to pay for child support since the birth of our child (Age 16 now). He lives and works in Dubai.
I have remarried and have other children, moved to Abu Dhabi 1 1/2 yrs back and contacted him at his office. He has failed on every promise until now. I cant afford the high legal fees to file a case.
Please, let me know what are my options. Thanks.
