Effect of cancellation and leaving the UAE on outstanding liabilities
Hello,
I am planning to relocate to Qatar by cancelling the current job in the UAE. I have credit card liabilities in the UAE.
I would like to know if my visa is cancelled with gratuity settlement, will I be caught in the airport while travelling in India?

Dear Sir/ Madam,
Thank you for getting in touch with me on this.
A person can be apprehended at the airport only when that person has a police or travel ban issued by the court.
In your case, if the bank bounces your security cheque (assuming you gave one at the time of taking a card), then a travel ban will be issued which will hamper your travel to India.
Hence I would advise that you travel before any case is filed or settle the amount while you are still here.
Please note that if you travel without paying the dues then there might be a warrant against you and you will be deemed to be an absconder, in which case you will have to appoint a lawyer or through your friend to clear your case in the UAE.
I trust you will find the above helpful.
Regards,
Hari Wadhwana
