Legal liability of the employee for unpaid invoices by clients

My company is going to file a case against me for not getting payments from one of our customers as they are stating that this problem arose because of me.

My visa is already cancelled on April 21 and I want to know the after effects of this. Please help me to get rid out of this.

Hi there,

What kind of problems? What are the actual allegations?

You cant stop company from filing a case against you but what you can do is to defend it properly to avoid any unavoidable situation due to it and to seek proper damages from the company for filing a false case against you (or any employee).

Feel free to reach us directly on 0523782456.

Thanks,

S

The actual problem is that I am handling accounts Receivable and one of our customers didn't pay some invoices of 2017.

At that time, I was handling that client and my company is stating that this problem arose due to my follow up.

And I gave one letter to my company recently for apologizing against this issue as per my management's instruction.

But, later they converted that letter by stating as my fault and there to get money from here.

Now I am in a tough situation where my visa is already expired today and going to overstay here.

What can I do to overcome this problem?
