Q: Dear Sir, I had issued a rental cheque to the landlord while I was a partner in the company, but when I left the company I forgot to collect the cheque back and eventually the new partner did not honor the payment, which later on ended up by landlord filling case and I was apprehended at the airport in Dubai on my visit. The amount was 14,000AED which I ended up paying at the court to close the case and get back home. Now I want a Police Clearance Certificate from Dubai for my Canadian Immigration, will that case be reflected in the PCC or have an effect on the issuance of PCC? Thanks

Q: Can I check if I have a travel ban, and where? I am going on vacation next month, and I just want to make sure that there will be no problem at the airport before I go. It happened that the cheque I issued for the real estate had bounced because of delayed payment, but it had been settled already. Q: Good afternoon, I need a legal advice: I have an unsettled bank debt in the UAE. I have lost my job in 2017 and I was not able to pay my instalments. After discussing with the bank, the bank agreed not to initiate any legal action against my liabilities, in order to return to the UAE to search for a job. I got a police clearance certifying that I’m of good conduct. My question is : Does this clearance guarantee that there is no arrest warrant /travel ban against me? Note: it is mentioned on the clearance: "the department is not responsible for legal rights of others". What does it mean? Appreciate your response! Thank you!

Q: Dear Sir, Greetings of the day, One of my friends who worked for a hotel in Dubai has taken AED 50 extra money from a guest and kept in his pocket, which has been identified by the management who cancelled his visa and sent him back to India.
