Q: Dear Sir,
My name is Sajid, from India- Kerala.
I worked from 2011 to 2017 as a house servant in Dubai. In 2017, I travelled to India for my vacation.
At the end of my vacation, I had some family issues and I couldn't join my job back. My visa expired in June 2017, and I’m currently planning to find a job in the UAE.
One of my friends just checked with the immigration and he informed me that my old sponsor made a complaint against me so that I have lifetime ban in the UAE.
How to get information about the ban? If there is a ban, is it possible to remove it?

Termination of employment for gross misconduct

Q: Hi,
I was terminated from my current job in Nakheel PJSC on 19-6-18.
In the termination letter, they mentioned the reason as "dismissed without notice for Gross Misconduct in accordance with employee regulations manual (Chapter C - Section 23) and as per UAE Labor Law Article 120" with immediate effects.
They also said verbally that the company will not pay me my end of service benefit amount. My question is, can the company hold this amount? Can I claim it legally from the company?

Q: My employee has not reported to work for more than 7 days now. Can I terminate his limited contract under Article 120 of the UAE Labor Law? He claims not to report to work until next month and is also claiming the end of service benefits which become null and void under Article 120 (clause j).

Q: My employee went on approved annual leave for 2 months in November 2021 and was expected to return to duty by January 2022. But he returned only today after more than 5 months.
As an employer, where do we stand in this matter?
What disciplinary actions can we take against him?
If we decide to terminate his services as a disciplinary action, what are the obligations to us?

Terminating an employee due to a conversation illegally recorded

Q: Dear sir/madam,
I was working with a free zone company in Dubai and they terminated me based on an illegal record submitted by a customer within an hour by giving me one month's notice.
However, when I informed them that my contract states that termination is not before less than 3 months' notice, HR started threatening me with confidentiality and article 120, etc.
I need help to get my money because HR initially didn't see my contract and later when they checked after my email, they are trying to save their bosses money.
If I go with a case, can they add more accusations based on their claim? Or will the case be based on the termination letter which was handed out without any warning ever?
Please guide!

Termination of an employee with a false accusation of supporting another company

Q: Dear sir/madam,
I was working for a private company for more than 10 years and I didn't receive any warning letter but I received a termination letter on 14th Nov 2022 after I completed the annual vacation (approved leave from Nov 3 to 13th Nov 2022).
The termination letter didn't mention any resignation. It just mentioned that: "your employment has been terminated immediately".
After that, I visited our office to discuss it but HR said: "you support another company that's why we terminated you", but I informed him that I didn't support any company and asked him to show me the proof but he ignored to discuss with me.
After 10 days, there was no response from the company so I filed a complaint to MOHRE to get my leave salary and end of service.
Now the case is forwarded to the court and the first trial date is 15th, Nov.
Please advise!
May the company refuse to pay?

I have two questions:

How can I reach a settlement with the bank for a mortgage of a jointly owned property? 0
I have a jointly owned property in Abu Dhabi. The mortgage was defaulted on as I had to leave the property with my children following an assault by my ex-husband. He left the country in 2018 and never paid the mortgage.
As I was in the country, the bank filed a criminal case against me, and I was sentenced to 3 years. I won the appeal against the bank and then filed another criminal case a few months later in Dubai. Again, I won and paid a fine.
In 2019, the bank started a civil case against me and my ex-husband to have the property repossessed. However, at the time of the purchase of the property, there were no Title Deeds, the bank requires this.
I cannot give them the Title Deeds to sell the property and pay back the amount owed to them as my ex-husband refuses to provide a POA. The bank has filed another criminal case against me only for our jointly owned property.
I wish to resolve this and pay off the bank and receive any money left from the sale. How can I resolve this issue of the Title Deeds?

Can a real estate agency hold a percentage of a property sale until transfer is done? 0
A real estate agency has signed an MOU stating that a 10% security deposit from the buyer and the seller will be kept in the real estate agency and will be released upon transferring the property.
The transfer of the property was blocked due to the court order.
According to my colleagues, the real estate agency is not a trustee and they are not allowed to have taken my security check in the first place, is this correct?
