Q: A person already exited with an Abu Dhabi outpass without paying the tourist visa overstay fine for 55 days from DXB airport on November 6, 2022. Now the file status in ICP is closed and no fine is shown in ICP. Can I re-enter the UAE on a new company visa from Nepal without any issues at DXB airport?

How can I avoid a cheque case and travel ban by the flat owner who failed to fulfill his obligations?
Q: Hello Ma’am/Sir Have a good day! What will I do if someone is blackmailing me because my cheques are with him for last year? I gave them to him because he said he would transfer the flat under my name. I gave him money also then after 3 months, he told me the flat could not be renewed. I can’t take the money that I gave to him, and that’s why I’m not paying his bills now. He is harassing me to pay his bills or else he will use my cheques. Please help me with what I will do. Q: Good afternoon, Thank you for your time. The public prosecution appealed my judgment (a fine that I satisfactorily cleared) and requested increasing the fine. Can you please explain what happens during a criminal case appeal hearing for me as a defendant? Will I be asked questions? Q: Hello, My friend took a loan of 100,000 Dirhams from a finance company in the UAE and repaid almost half through installments. However, after losing his job, he was unable to continue payments. The finance company then deposited his guarantee cheque, which bounced. This happened three years ago. Recently, the finance company has engaged a debt recovery agency in Pakistan to recover the remaining amount. Q: What happens if you leave the UAE with an unpaid personal loan of around AED 180,000 and go to your home country? Or what if you go to court or the bank and tell them you lost all the money in [stock market]? What will be the process or which is the best way to come out of this? My current salary is 6000 and after deducting home rent and transportation which are 4000, I hope it will increase by 2000 in Sep. so my salary will be around 8000 in Sept 2025. Q: I received a termination letter from my company on January 31st, 2025, with a one-month notice period, stating my last working day as February 28th, 2025. Q: Hello, Are landlords allowed to increase rent for residential property at the first annual renewal? My landlord is asking for a 10% increase. My contract renews on June 20, 2025, and the 90-day notice period ends on March 19, 2025. At present, the RERA index shows no increase for my apartment. They have also included the following language in their email requesting the rent increase: "Please be further advised that your rent will be reviewed and revised, subject to applicable laws and any amendments to regulations by the Dubai Rent Committee." 1. Are they allowed to increase rent after the first anniversary of the lease? 2. If the index currently shows no increase, on what basis are they asking for a 10% increase, and what does the language in quotation marks allow them to do?

What can I do if the judge refused to allow bail in an appeal of fraud case?
Q: In the hearing recently, the judge said "The appellants appeared in person - remote trial and did not surrender themselves for execution for their presence in the courtroom" on the next hearing date. He did not give Kafala (bail) while I appeared online. The court is the Appeal Court of Ajman. The last judgment is 2 years jail sentence and deportation with a big fine for a fraud case.
