If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country?
Q: Hi. One of my friends joined a Telegram group. They said, "We will transfer some amount to your account, and your task is to transfer this amount to another account. Once the task is completed, you will get 30 or 50 AED per task." He completed 3 to 4 tasks, but he realized it was not good, so he stopped. After one week, when he opened his account, it was blocked, and the bank said, "We are conducting an investigation; after this, we will let you know." After some days, he had an accident and went to his home country. He then received a call from a landline number, which was from the Abu Dhabi police station. They said, "We have received a complaint against you; come to our investigation department." However, due to his surgery and treatment, he could not go. After some time, his bank account was reopened, and he did not receive any further calls. I want to know, if he comes back to the UAE or goes to any other GCC country, will he face any problems? If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country? Please advise!

Can I return to the UAE after an outpass and unpaid fine?
Q: Hello, I had an absconding case, which was later removed. While canceling the visa with my previous employer, who had placed the absconding case, the immigration department informed me that I had a fine of 12,000 AED, and the visa would be canceled once I paid the fine. I didn’t have the money, so they said I could either take an outpass and be banned from the country or pay the fine. I chose the outpass. Now I want to return to the UAE. Is there any way I can come back, and do I still need to pay the fine?

Q: Hello Ma’am/Sir Have a good day! What will I do if someone is blackmailing me because my cheques are with him for last year? I gave them to him because he said he would transfer the flat under my name. I gave him money also then after 3 months, he told me the flat could not be renewed. I can’t take the money that I gave to him, and that’s why I’m not paying his bills now. He is harassing me to pay his bills or else he will use my cheques. Please help me with what I will do. I have a cases and travel ban for loans and credit cards. Can I pay the fine and clear them?
Q: I had 10 loans in 2010 from various banks and credit cards and left the country due to job loss. 2 of those banks no longer exist today, and 3 of the banks have put a case and travel ban on me. Now I spoke to a lawyer and he said they can clear the 3 cases by paying a fine/fees. Will the bank still chase me for the remaining debt after this clearance process? I plan to return to the UAE to work on a new job. What about the remaining 5 banks that have not filed a case for personal loans/credit cards?
