Am I entitled to full 3 months’ pay with benefits plus EOS gratuity after sudden termination?
Q: Hello, I have been working at a company in DMCC for nearly 5 years. I work in sales with varying annual results, ranging from overachieving to underachieving in a difficult market. This year, my manager gave me a very high target and lower targets to my colleagues. Our sales are mostly achieved in the last 3 months of the year when companies finally spend their annual budget. Now, my manager has suddenly decided to terminate me without any warning because of performance issues. They are offering to pay the minimum end-of-service gratuity plus 3 months’ basic salary and unpaid leave days. Am I entitled to 3 months’ full pay, including benefits, in addition to the End of Service gratuity and unpaid leave days?

Q: My cheque has been returned. RDC informed me that I can make an offer and deposit for the returned cheque. Does anyone know how this works? They said it is different from the offer and deposit you do prior to renewal, where you wait 5 days. With this type of offer and deposit, you can hand over the cheque to RDC. Please advise.+4

How to cancel a contract still active after winning an RDC case?
Q: Hello, I had filed a case at RDC against my landlord as they had not responded to my legal notice for cancellation, and they had not officially renewed the contract for 2 years as well. I won the case, and the verdict came for contract cancellation. I filed for enforcement after 15 days, and it has been a month since then. The contract is still showing as active on the Dubai REST app. I had disconnected my DEWA and given notice 3 months in advance of the contract expiry date. Q: I resigned from my company as they forged my signature to cancel my visa quickly. They informed me only after transferring my settlement without my approval, and they instructed the bank to hold my account with the EOSB, knowing I have pending liabilities with my bank. They sent me a copy of my cancellation to sign, but I refused and told them I would come in the morning to sign. However, when I later checked my visa status, I was shocked to see that I had already been cancelled. I reported this to MOHRE, but they kept telling me to go to the police. I obtained a soft copy of my visa cancellation, and I saw that my signature had been copy-pasted — it came from HR. Do I need a lawyer to file my case? I don’t have enough money to manage because the bank is holding my gratuity. I don’t know what to do now. Maybe someone can help me with my case, as I also don’t have the money to renew my visa since the bank has blocked my current account.
