Does the UAE share TB-related medical bans with other GCC countries?

Hello,

I was medically banned from the UAE last year due to a TB scar, but the disease was not active. Now I want to confirm:

Can I go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, or can I not travel to any GCC country? Did the UAE share that medical data with all other GCC countries? Will they stop me at immigration or through an iris scan, etc.?

Dear Questioner,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concern. We fully understand the importance of ensuring your freedom of movement in the UAE, and we are ready to handle this matter on your behalf with efficiency and confidentiality.

We provide end-to-end legal support to confirm whether you have any travel bans, criminal cases, civil cases, arrest warrants, or execution files registered against your name in Dubai or across the UAE.

With over 16 years of proven experience, our firm has successfully assisted thousands of clients in similar situations.

To initiate the travel ban check, we require a Power of Attorney (POA) enabling us to represent you before government authorities and police stations. To prepare and notarize the POA, kindly provide us with:

• A copy of your old and new passports,

• A copy of your visa, and

• A copy of your Emirates ID.

Once received at [--------------], we will draft the POA in both English and Arabic for your review, signature, and return.

Process of POA Notarization:

• The POA will be submitted to the Federal Notary Public.

• The notary will provide you with a secure link for a remote verification session, where your original passport will be checked, and you will sign electronically.

Professional Fees:

• Notary Fees: USD 165 (paid directly to the notary) – you will receive a digital copy of the notarized POA.

• Legal Fees for Travel Ban Check: USD 325 – Once we receive the notarized POA, we will conduct a full check through the UAE criminal record system. The process usually takes 4 working days.

Next Steps After the Check:

• If no travel ban is found, we will issue you an official confirmation.

• If a travel ban or case is identified, we will arrange a Zoom consultation with you to explain the legal procedures and immediately advise on the best course of action to resolve it.

Why Choose Us:

Unlike general legal services, we specialize in UAE travel bans and litigation matters, giving us unmatched expertise and direct access to the authorities. We ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and swift action, qualities that you will not find elsewhere.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with your question number at: [-----------].

Dear questioner,

Your medical ban from the UAE for a TB scar is a specific ban related to residency. It does not automatically mean you are banned from all other GCC countries or from traveling for Umrah.

Saudi Arabia's regulations for Umrah are different, and as long as your TB is not active and you meet the vaccination requirements, you should be able to travel.

However, it is always best to confirm with the official Saudi authorities and to be prepared with a medical report.

If you need more details, kindly share your WhatsApp number.

Hello,

A medical ban in the UAE related to TB scars usually applies only to entry or residence within the UAE and is not specifically shared across GCC countries.

This means you can generally travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, as the UAE does not have a unified medical data sharing system with GCC countries, which affects travel bans.

However, at UAE immigration or other GCC borders, if you have a medical ban still active under UAE law, this could affect re-entry or exit from the UAE. It is advisable to check your current UAE medical and travel ban status through the health authorities or immigration.

Let me know if you need help with that.

The GCC countries do have shared immigration systems, but not all medical bans are entered into them unless they are connected to security, criminal, or immigration violations.

If the disease is not active, you should have proof from the health authorities, and you can apply for Umrah and wait for the approval.
