My company forged my signature to cancel my visa after my resignation. What can I do?
I resigned from my company as they forged my signature to cancel my visa quickly. They informed me only after transferring my settlement without my approval, and they instructed the bank to hold my account with the EOSB, knowing I have pending liabilities with my bank.
They sent me a copy of my cancellation to sign, but I refused and told them I would come in the morning to sign. However, when I later checked my visa status, I was shocked to see that I had already been cancelled.
I reported this to MOHRE, but they kept telling me to go to the police. I obtained a soft copy of my visa cancellation, and I saw that my signature had been copy-pasted — it came from HR.
Do I need a lawyer to file my case?
I don’t have enough money to manage because the bank is holding my gratuity. I don’t know what to do now. Maybe someone can help me with my case, as I also don’t have the money to renew my visa since the bank has blocked my current account.
Dear questioner
You can file a case for forgery without the involvement of a lawyer. The only thing is that you need to submit the complaint along with strong evidence showing they had copied and pasted the signatures, and it is a forgery.

You may be a victim of serious violations under UAE law, including forgery of your signature for visa cancellation and unlawful withholding of your End of Service Benefits (EOSB).
Your employer cannot legally cancel your visa or block your gratuity without your consent or a court order.
You should immediately file a police report for forgery and escalate your complaint to MOHRE for labour violations.
I can take the necessary steps.
Please send me all documents related to your employment contracts, bank statements, proof of your refusal to sign the waiver, and emails to file a lawsuit against your employer and the bank.
You may also need to file a lawsuit to cancel the bank's hold on your account, as the bank does not have the right to withhold any amounts from your end-of-service gratuity without your consent.

I understand the difficulty of your situation, it combines employment, immigration, and banking issues.
From what you explained, if your employer has forged your signature and cancelled your visa without your consent, this is a serious matter under UAE law and can be pursued legally.
In such cases, the right course is:
Forgery is a criminal matter, and if your signature was copied and used without your consent, it can be reported to the police for investigation.
Unlawful visa cancellation can be challenged through MOHRE and immigration authorities, but with proper legal representation, the matter is handled more effectively.
Bank hold on EOSB/gratuity is often linked to pending loans or liabilities. However, if your gratuity was blocked unfairly due to employer’s instructions, this too can be contested.
You will need a lawyer to guide you in filing the right complaints and also in ensuring your immigration status is not jeopardized while this is ongoing.
I regularly assist clients in similar situations, especially where employers act unfairly during visa cancellation or settlement procedures.
I recommend we sit together, review your cancellation papers, settlement transfer, and bank documents, and then decide the most urgent steps, whether police complaint, labour court claim, or immigration authority filing.
Don’t delay, as visa status and timelines are critical.
You can reach me directly on WhatsApp or call me, and I will guide you on how to move forward and protect your rights.
