Delaying the salary
Q: My employer is constantly delaying the salary of the employees every month sometimes he delays it for a week or two and sometimes he pays on time, can I file a complaint to make him pay on time every month because as you know everyone has loans, credit card bills, rent etc. which must be paid on time and I get a fine for bouncing cheques and late payment charges for credit card?

Clearing the case of a bounced guarantee cheque after payment
Q: I gave a guarantee cheque for one person. He filed a civil lawsuit against me, but I went to his office one year ago and paid the full amount with cash, in his office. I got the receipt from his office that I paid them against that cheque, but they didn`t return my cheque because they made an excuse that it`s lost and they can`t find it and give me the receipt. س: تلقيت خطاب إقالة من صاحب العمل بعد أربعة أشهر من تاريخ إصدار التأشيرة. وسبب الإقالة هو عدم قدرتي على تحقيق هدف المبيعات بعملي كمسؤول مبيعات. قمت بتوقيع خطاب الإقالة، وهو نافذ بعد شهر من التوقيع. هل سيتم حظري من العمل في هذه الحالة؟

Labor appeal
Q: My employer has filed an appeal to the Dubai Court decision on our labor case where they did not show up by submitting a backdated termination letter showing termination before the filing of the labor case. I have the pic of actual termination letter which I was asked to sign after the labor case. Actual timeline 21-07-2015 labor case filed, 27-07-2015 I was asked to sign termination which I didn`t backdate, the document shows 18-07-2015 before the labor complaint.2016/04/27

Medical negligence
Q: I went to a hospital to have a medical check-up as I had a weird feeling, they ran the tests and they told me that I am fine and nothing is wrong and that I am cancer free. A year later, I went to the same hospital as I have been informed by another hospital that I may have breast cancer, they ran the tests again and they said it is a benign tumor. However, when I traveled back to the US and had another check-up I was informed that the tumor is malignant. I had to go through surgery and chemotherapy and be absent from work for a long time to get the treatment. I was also informed that if I had known about it the first time I was diagnosed, there would have been a better chance to cure it at early stages. Can I claim for compensation from the hospital for negligence and how much can I claim for?2016/04/26

إنهاء صاحب العمل لعقد عمل محدد المدة
س: السلام عليكم، لدي عقد عمل محدد المدة كمدير مشروع بشركة مسؤولية محدودة في دبي حتى يوم 1/5/2017. لكن الراتب المذكور في العقد أقل بكثير من الراتب الذي اتفقت عليه مع المدير المالي للشركة. ولم يتم دفع الراتب المتفق عليه في الاتفاق الشفهي. وبعد التحدث إلى المدير المالي عن الأمر، أخطرتني الشركة برغبتها في إنهاء عقدي على الفور ودون إخطار مسبق. ما هي الحقوق التي يمنحها لي القانون في هذه الحالة؟ وما هي الإجراءات التي ينبغي اتخاذها؟ أشكركم على المساعدة مقدمًا.2016/03/29
