However, a travel ban seems to exist now because of a small amendment that has to be made on his end. In the meantime, he has to travel back home for a week for an emergency. Funds were credited (shown in the statement & SMS), and customer service confirmed twice that the loan was cleared. He also paid AED 10K+ interest for the insurance. A year later, a cheque case was filed by a debt company and bank—he won with the same documents. Now, in Jan 2025, the bank filed a commercial case. The court appointed an expert, but the expert ignored his evidence. he showed that a key page of the contract (stating job loss insurance) was missing from the bank’s submission. The bank told the expert the credited amount was a “loan write-off,” but gave no proof. The expert never investigated his findings. I need advice on whether this verdict can be appealed and whether it’s worth pursuing further. My friend is in India now
