س: حصلت على عرض عمل من إحدى شركات التشييد والبناء في دبي بعد إجراء مقابلة شخصية. قمت بالتوقيع على عرض العمل الذي استلمته عبر البريد الإلكتروني وأرسلته مرة أخرى. الآن، بعد 20 يومًا، قاموا بسحب عرض العمل بناء على قرار من إدارتهم. أعمل في قطر، وقد قمت بالاستقالة من عملي بالفعل، ويتوجب علي الرحيل من قطر خلال الأسبوع القادم. لا أعلم ما الذي علي فعله، هل هناك أي فرصة للمطالبة القانونية؟

What can I do if a company hired me then changed their mind?

Q: I am working in a company and their management is the worst. They made an interview in India and called me. After calling me here, they again made interviews and made me work for 1 month. And now, they're telling me I am not capable of work and they are mentally torturing me. I have given them 1.5 lack in office in India and here they are not paying me any salary. I am going into depression as I am not getting any solutions. The only solution coming to my mind is a suicide, I don’t have any other options left. I have taken money in interest and people are daily coming to my house for money. Please guide me in a proper way on what I can do.

Q: Dear Legal Advice Middle East, I hope you are well. I am seeking legal advice regarding an unpaid salary issue with my former employer, [-----]2 LLC. I was employed with them from December 4, 2024, to January 7, 2025, on a monthly salary of 5,000 AED. However, I only received a partial payment of 2,473 AED on February 24, 2025. The remaining 2,527 AED is still unpaid. I submitted a complaint to MOHRE on March 2, 2025, but I am unable to proceed further through their official channels. This is because I was working under the visa of my previous employer, [---] LLC, and not under [----]’s sponsorship. As a result, I do not meet the criteria to file a labor complaint via the MOHRE app or hotline. Given this situation, I would appreciate your guidance on how I can legally pursue the recovery of my remaining salary, considering the complications related to my visa status during the employment.
