Claiming the advance rent and security cheques from landlord

Thank you for getting in touch with me on this.

I understand that you must have Ejari and a Rent Contract with the real estate company.

Under this agreement, there will be provisions pertaining to early termination (since you mentioned advance rent payment) and the fact that you have provided security cheque to the company.

Please explain what is the exact issue that happened with the real estate company. Is it that you have terminated the contract and the company is not releasing your cheques?

I advise that you issue a legal notice to the real estate company demanding the cheques. If they do not respond to the notice, then institute a case before Rental Dispute Committee.
