Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am working in a company on probation for 2 months. Due to a mistake done by the former employee who worked in my position, the employer gave me a termination letter with 30 days' notice without considering my explanation.
Also, the prior employee came to train me for these two months and his payment was deducted from my salary.
The employer asked me to pay more than 6000 AED as visa cost from this month's & next month's salary.
As per the contract letter I signed with him, there is a clause as I have to bare the cost of employment (visa related) if terminated on probation.
Kindly help on this since I have to work without payment till my last working day even though it is not a voluntary resignation but an unfair termination.

كيف يمكنني تمديد تأشيرتي بعد إنهاء العقد للبحث عن وظيفة أخرى؟
س: مرحبًا،
لقد تم إنهاء عقدي وقال صاحب العمل إنهم سيحتفظون بتأشيرتي حتى 7 نوفمبر لإعطائي الوقت للعثور على وظيفة جديدة. إذا لم أجد وظيفة جديدة بحلول ذلك الوقت، فسوف يقومون بإلغاء التأشيرة على أي حال.
من غير المرجح أن أحصل على وظيفة بحلول الموعد النهائي في 7 نوفمبر. أدرك أن لدي فترة سماح مدتها 30 يومًا لتغيير الوضع بعد إلغاء التأشيرة. خطتي هي التغيير إلى تأشيرة سياحية.
سؤالي هو، إذا كنت أرغب في العودة إلى وطني (المملكة المتحدة) لفترة من الوقت (على سبيل المثال، من 20 نوفمبر إلى 4 يناير) ومواصلة التقدم للحصول على وظائف من إنجلترا، فماذا يجب أن أفعل فيما يتعلق بالتأشيرة الخاصة بي؟
إذا خرجت من البلاد في 20 نوفمبر (خلال فترة السماح البالغة 30 يومًا) فهل هذا كافٍ؟
سأظل أحتفظ بشقتي وحسابي البنكي وما إلى ذلك هنا. "للخروج" بشكل رسمي بعد إلغاء تأشيرة الإقامة، هل يلزم الخروج/الإغلاق أيضًا؟
أم أن الأمر بسيط حيث أحتاج إلى الخروج خلال 30 يومًا من 7 نوفمبر حتى أتمكن من السفر في منتصف نوفمبر وعندما أعود في يناير على تأشيرة سياحية؟

I booked a hotel stay for Eid through a travel agency and it was canceled two days before Eid. What to do?
I booked a hotel stay for Eid through a travel agency two weeks before Eid. The travel agency confirmed the booking on payment.
One day before Eid, the agency reached out, saying they had an issue with the supplier/hotel and the booking would be cancelled.
They offered alternative hotels that didn’t match the original property. I suggested some properties, and they couldn’t arrange them, or they asked for further payment, so I didn’t book anything through them.
What are my rights to a refund and compensation, as I had to book other arrangements separately at a significantly higher cost due to the last-minute prices?
It also caused significant emotional distress, less than 24 hours before the holiday. To which authority can a complaint be made in case of an unsatisfactory outcome?
Both the agency and the hotel are in Dubai.

Can I cancel my house sale contract without extra fees after personal plans changed?
Dear Lawyers,
I signed a Form F with a buyer for the sale of my house as we were planning to leave the country. The contract was signed about a month ago, but the handover is not until August.
Due to personal circumstances changing, we are no longer leaving Dubai and would like to cancel Form F.
The Form F contract stipulates that we have to pay the buyer 10% of the purchase value. The real estate agent is now claiming that we also have to pay the buyer's real estate commission and the conveyancing fee.
Our understanding is that the 10% penalty is the only penalty. Which is correct, and what are the next steps to dispute this?
Also, is there any way to dispute the 10% itself under the law due to personal circumstances changing?
