A landlord filed an eviction case. Will there be a travel ban against the tenant?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I received an overdue eviction notice and have applied for an offer and deposit notice. The landlord wants to file an eviction case.
What consequences will I face? Will there be a travel ban when the case is filed or at the decision time? What are my options?
Dear questioner,
There will be no travel ban during the filing stage of a case.
The travel ban is imposed during execution time, however, if the landlord suspects that the tenant may escape from the UAE within the procedures, the landlord can enforce it as soon as possible.
But if you have a proper payment plan to settle the amount, then, there will be no travel ban and the case will be dissolved.

Dear Questioner,
There are certain conditions to impose a travel ban on your name.
The consequences will be based on the judgment of the case. If it's an eviction, you will have to vacate the property if the judgment is against you.
It will be better if you submit a good defense in your favor. If you want, we can provide you with the service as well.

Dear Questioner,
Generally, a travel ban is imposed during the last stage of the case.
However, if the court finds it necessary to impose a travel ban upon the request of the landlord that the tenant may travel to his home country, then there are the possibilities of imposing a travel ban.
Try to settle the matter with the landlord if possible.
If the matter escalates, we can help you to quash the case and remove the travel ban on behalf of you.

Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.
If you have received an eviction notice in the UAE and the landlord intends to file an eviction case, there is no automatic travel ban at the time of filing.
Travel bans may be requested if the court rules against you and orders eviction or unpaid rent.
Your options include negotiation with the landlord, consulting with us, discussing a payment plan for rent arrears, or defending the case in court if you have valid defenses.

Dear Respected Customer,
To your knowledge, the landlord has three options for raising your rent or evicting you:
1. If he is a new landlord.
2. If you failed to pay one or two cheques.
3. If you have a fight with your neighbors supported by a police report.
If you do not have any of the issues listed above, we can certainly renew your contract through the courts with the same rent rate.
Please contact our office manager on his mobile phone with WhatsApp for assistance.

Hi,
Pursuant to your query, if your landlord has served you the notice in accordance with the law, you should vacate the property, otherwise, you will have to pay the legal expenses and the overdue rent, and evict the property.
Dear Inquirer,
We are pleased to serve you and address your inquiries.
If the landlord takes legal action for late payments and eviction, and if they win the case, they can request a travel ban.
If anything else is required, don’t hesitate to contact us via email, or call our offices in Dubai or Sharjah.

Dear Questioner,
Travel bans are only imposed if the court fears that you will escape, or after the ruling is issued as an implementation measure.
