They gave a date for the judgment, but it was not issued, and they gave the next date. I have been suffering a lot for the last 3 months here in the UAE and for 6 months back home. So my question is that what will happen next? Will the case be open for retrial, and will the CID be convinced by my logic? Can they drop charges, or now the court decide only?

Salam, My company has filed a complaint against me in MOHRE related to training fees. This is the clause mentioned in my contract: "The Second Party shall be obliged to pay back the value of the training (which is estimated at an amount of 10000 AED) when they terminate the employment contract based on their own free will (within One Year) from the date of commencement of their contract, without prejudice to the First Party's legal or contractual obligations. (the amount agreed on for the value of the training period must be commensurate with the employment period of the employee)" My question is: 1. I served 11 months in the company. Can they demand the full 10,000 or it should be less due to 11 months (as per the last line of the clause)? 2. I didn't even get training from the company. I responded by providing the landlord with the RERA Index information dated Feb-05-2024, which indicated no change in rental rates for similar properties at that time. On March 13, 2024, the RERA Index was apparently updated, reflecting an increase in rental rates. My landlord then sent another WhatsApp message on the same date, citing this update as a justification for raising the rent. As per RERA regulations, any notification regarding a rent increase should be delivered within the designated 90-day window before the lease renewal date. Since the landlord's latest message falls outside this timeframe, with only 53 days remaining before the potential renewal, I am unsure whether I am obligated to accept the proposed rent increase.
