Can we get out of a real estate contract if the agent lied about the property?
Hello,
We signed a Form F to purchase an apartment, but later, we discovered that the real estate agent lied about the apartment's amenities.
We were not allowed to view the apartment before signing because we were told it was rented out on a short-term basis, which we have proof was a lie.
The apartment has many issues that were not disclosed to us.
What are our chances of getting the contract canceled without penalty?

If you have proof that you were misled to buy this apartment contrary to the terms and conditions in the sales and purchase agreement, you can request the court to terminate the contract and compensate you for the time wasted by the buyer.

Step 1: Send them a legal notice to return your money in a week or months, as you like.
You can file the notice yourself, but the notice through a lawyer's office, or through a notary public, gives the matter more seriousness.
Step 2: (If 1 is not successful) The option would be to file a case against them in court. The case must be filed in the court located in the city in which their headquarters are located.
If the amount is less than 500,000, there is a stage of amicable settlement through the court. This step will be before the case is brought to the judge.
