Can estate agents in Dubai charge a non-refundable commission fee upfront?
Hello,
Can I have legal clarification on whether estate agents in Dubai are allowed to charge a non-refundable commission fee upfront before the sale of a property?

Dear Questioner,
The law does not prevent this.
If the buyer pays the non-refundable fee, the real estate agent will reserve the property for him; meaning that he will not reserve the property for other potential buyers.
