إذا كنت قد عملت، على سبيل المثال، لمدة عامين لدى إحدى الشركات في دولة الإمارات، هل يحق لي الحصول على إجازة مدتها 30 يومًا عن كل سنة من الخدمة؟
أم يتم احتساب السنة الأولى بواقع يومين في الشهر (24 يومًا) والسنة الثانية يتم احتساب 30 يومًا في السنة؟

س: مرحبًا سيدتي،
لقد قرأت إجابتك على سؤال يتعلق بحساب راتب الإجازة عند انتهاء الوظيفة أو إنهاء الخدمة أو الاستقالة، وهي أن راتب الإجازات المتراكمة يُحسب على أساس الأجر الأساسي.
أتساءل ما هي الإجازات المتراكمة؟
إذا حصلت على جميع مستحقات راتب الإجازة في الإجازة الأخيرة واستقلت بعد عام واحد من استئناف العمل، هل سيكون راتب شهر واحد فقط مستحقًا لي؟ هل تعتبر إجازة متراكمة أم إجازة سنوية عادية؟
ولماذا يتم الحساب على أساس الراتب الأساسي في هذه الحالة؟
أعتقد أن الإجازات المتراكمة هي أيام مستحقة أكثر من 60 يومًا. يرجى تقديم المشورة لي لأنني أخطط للاستقالة من وظيفتي.
لقد أكملت 20 عامًا في نفس الشركة ولا يوجد راتب إجازة غير مدفوعة الأجر باستثناء آخر سنة من الخدمة.

Q: Greetings,
If I have been employed by a company based in the Dubai Free Zone (DFZ) for three years and resign without taking any vacation leave during that period, is the company legally obligated to reimburse me for my accrued vacation days and ticket costs in addition to my gratuity?
Can the company refuse to pay these fees because I did not utilize my vacation time?

1) May I know if I need to pay the company for my visa for resigning after 1 year? My contract is a limited contract for 2 years.
2) During my 1 year in the company, I worked on every public holiday in the retail industry without being paid or compensated. How can I retrieve the compensation for those days?
3) Can I convert my 30-day vacation to cash without taking the vacation after 1 year in the company?

I live in the UAE with my own visa. I worked for a real estate company for about 10 months and resigned.
They have only given me my salary without vacation pay. They say the reason is I am not on their visa, so they cannot provide vacation balance days.
Is that true?

Q: Hello,
I want to inquire regarding my leave privileges. I am now 11 months in my company. How many leaves am I privileged to?
Based on Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 regulating labour relations and its executive regulations, you are entitled to a paid weekly rest for not less than one day, as specified in the work contract or the work regulation.
The Council of Ministers may increase the weekly rest day stipulated in this article. The Decree-Law and its executive regulations also stipulate that you are entitled to an annual leave with full pay as follows:
- Thirty days for each year of your extended service.
- Two days per month in respect of any employee with more than six months and less than one year of service.
- Leave for parts of the last year of your service in case it is terminated before you use your annual leave balance.
Now my question is: do I have 22 days I can use? Can someone explain to me in detail?

Hi,
I wanted to purchase a 2-bedroom apartment in JVC Dubai. I gave a 10% security deposit cheque to the seller. The price mentioned in the MoU is very high compared to other similar apartments in the same building.
The bank’s valuation also came in very low. Since the valuation is much lower, how can I terminate the MoU and get my cheque back? The MoU ends on 1st October 2024.
One of the articles in the MoU states:
In the event that the Buyer fails to make the payments as agreed or fails to complete the transfer on the agreed date due to his own acts or omissions, the Seller has the right to terminate this agreement and retain the deposit, provided that the termination is due to a violation of the agreed terms, unless both parties agree amicably to different dates.
I need help urgently.
