Obligation of the employer to pay the notice period upon termination

My job contract does not mention any probation period but there is a six-month notice period.

Is it possible to be terminated by the company on less than 6 month notice period?

If the company terminates me on immediate termination, will they pay me 6 months' salaries or no?

I am in Bahrain?
