Accommodation and transportation provided by the company
In my offer letter, they have mentioned my salary as basic pay, food allowance and other allowances, but they have mentioned that accommodation and transportation will be provided by the company.
I want to know, will they charge for accommodation and transportation or it will be free of cost?
Dear Questioner,
As you have mentioned in your question it appears that your employer is offering you Money payment for the basic Salary plus other allowances and in addition is offering you a place to live and a transportation mean. Which means that they will not charge you for these two benefits.
However, my advice is based on the way you expressed what you understood out of the offer letter draft. I would need to see the document to confirm this understanding. Let me know if you wish that I have a look at it.
