الخطوات القانونية لإلغاء توكيل محامٍ
س: وكلت محامي بدون اتفاق رسمي على أن أدفع له أتعاب كدفعة أولى لقضية عمالية حتى يرفعها، ولكن لم أستطع تحصيل المبلغ الذي يطلبه. وجدت محامي آخر قال لي أن قانون العمل لا يشمل الدفعة وإنما بالتحصيل! لذلك أبلغت المحامي الأول بأنني لا أريد توكيله بسبب أنني لا أستطيع الدفع، وأرجوا إرسالي لإلغاء توكيلي لك، ولكنه لم يقبل إلا بشروطه بحيث أدفع استشارة بملغ هائل بدون أن أتفق معه على ذلك. ما الخطوات القانونية السليمة لإلغاء توكيل المحامي الأول، علمًا بأنه لم يرفع القضية؟ Legal dictionary

Show cause order
A court order that requires one or more of the parties to a case to justify, explain or prove something to the court. Court’s commonly use orders to show cause when the judge needs more information before deciding whether or not to issue an order requested by one of the parties. For example, if a party requests that the court find another party in contempt of court of an existing order, the judge will typically issue an ‘Order to Show Cause Re Contempt’ to the party accused of being in contempt of court. At the hearing of the order to show cause concerning contempt the judge will take evidence from both sides concerning the alleged failure to comply with the court order before making a decision on the merits of the issue. The right to terminate the SPA and recover the paid amount
Q: I have purchased a studio unit from a developer in Oct 2015. To date, I have made 8 payments (total: AED 305.000) plus Oqood (30.000). The developer destroyed my SPA without my knowledge (the excuse was that I didn`t collect it but I have requested it on multiple occasions). Currently, the project has been delayed for nearly 2 years. Initially, the handover was Q2, 2018 and now it`s expected Q4, 2020 (not sure if that`s possible as currently, it`s only at 70.56 complete). س: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، بداية أشكر لكم جهودكم! أنا سيدة تعاقدت مع مكتب استشاري على تشييد منزل سكني بإمارة دبي وللأسف لم ينهِ المقاول المشروع حسب المدة المحددة بالعقد وتوجد عيوب في تنفيذ أعمال الطابوق والخرسانات حسب التقرير الفني من بلدية دبي. كما أن المخططات المعتمدة من قبلي لا تتوافق مع الواقع في المشروع. وبمراجعة مكتب الاستشاري، لم يعترف بما ذكرته وإنما يلقي اللوم عليّ للهروب من المسؤولية ودفاعًا عن المقاول مع العلم أن نسبة إنجاز المشروع ٣٥ بالمائة فقط وقد سددت مبلغ يعادل ٥٠ بالمائة من قيمة العقد. أرجو منكم توجيهي في مثل هذه الحالات. جزاكم الله خيرًا! Filing a case to recover a debt without a cheque
Q: I own 10% of the shares of a restaurant. The contract I have had already matured and I was issued a cheque. Naturally, the cheque bounced, but along the way, the cheque was sent back to my old company so I no longer possess the cheque. And I was promised that the debt will be paid, but more than 1 year has passed and I haven`t been paid anything. I still possess the original contract and a letter stating that he will pay his dues. Legal action against the husband for abandoning wife and child
Q: I am a resident of Dubai. I want to ask about my husband who brought me from Dubai along with my 3-year-old son by fraud to spend a vacation in Pakistan in Dec 2019. He forcefully took over child passport and other documents of UAE visa and left us alone in Pakistan and runaway back to UAE. I am on an employment visa and my son is under his father`s visa. I need to come back, but my husband is keeping the passport in Dubai with him and he is not ready to give it back to me. I am stuck in Pakistan as I need to bring my son to UAE. Selling a share in a business without knowing its value
Q: I started a business with a partner (50/50 shares) who is managing the business, supported by my contributions to marketing and operations. After 1 year of business, I`m still not getting clarity concerning the collections and payments, etc. Money is often collected by my partner in cash mode instead of the bank.
