Offer by a company and request to pay visa expenses to travel agency

Q: Dear Sir/Ma`am, I`m a resident of Singapore holding an Indian passport and just a job offer from a company called [--------] in Dubai. In the offer, they`ve mentioned: "Newly recruited foreign expatriate employees to join our team are bound to process & obtain 3-year valid U.A.E Residence Visa & Work Permit before joining with our work team on the resumption date. U.A.E Residence Visa and Work Permit are valid only for 3 years (renewable) for employees in Free Zone. Any Employee who accepts this offer shall contact this Logistics Agency [--------] travel agency & pay all expenses for processing, procurement & acquisition of their UAE Residence Visa & work permit`s clearance papers from Ministry of Interior. The employer shall reimburse all expenses upon employee arrival in the UAE." Is it ok if I pay all the expenses for the UAE Residence Visa/Work permits? I thought normally Dubai firm shall bear visa expenses. Thanks

س: السلام عليكم، لدي عدة أسئلة: 1- راتبي 1800 درهم لا أتقاضاه كاملاً مرة واحدة؛ إذ أحصل على 1300 أو 900 ثم أحصل على باقي المبلغ بعد أسبوع. هل هذا التصرُّف قانوني؟ 2- حين أمرض أذهب للكشف وأحضر العلاج على نفقتي. أليست الشركة ملزمة بذلك؟ 3- دفعت في بلدي مبلغ 35 ألف جنيه، وحين أتيت إلى الشركة دفعت 2000 درهم باقي تكلفة الإقامة. يُخصَم مني مبلغ 500 كل شهر. هل هذا الخصم من الراتب قانوني؟ 4- نركب الباص 23 عاملاً. هل إذا صورت المنظر وقدمت شكوى أتعرض للضرر؟ لا أشتكي إلا للحفاظ على سلامتي وسلامة الآخرين. أرجو الرد في أسرع وقت!

س: هل يمكن إزالة الحرمان الدائم؟ صدر ضدي حرمان دائم بسبب هروب من الكفيل منذ عام 2014. وقبل المغادرة في بداية 2018، قدمت طلب استرحام للجوازات بمرافقة القنصل المغربي، وأُخِذت بصمة العين ومُنحت تصريح مغادرة خلال 6 أيام. الحين توصلت إلى عرض عمل لدى مصنع بجبل علي بمنصب مدير تصدير، وبعثت لهم صورة الجواز، وتم طلب التأشيرة ولكنها رُفِضت بسبب الحرمان الدائم. صاحب المصنع مستعد لمساعدتي واتخاذ الإجراءات لرفع الحرمان.

س: كلما أذهب للعمل يطلبون مني صحيفة الحالة الجنائية، وعندما أستخرجه أجد مذكورًا فيها قضية مخدرات قديمة تم الحكم فيها، والحمدلله لم أقربها منذ زمن وتوقفت عن التعاطي. عندها أشعر بالحرج من تقديم الصحيفة ولا أكمل إجراءات التوظيف. هل هناك إجراءات يمكن اتخاذها لإزلة القضية من صحيفة الحالة الجنائية؟

Q: Dear Tony, My friend was working in the UAE and had to leave in 2009 as he lost his job during the recession. He had a credit card payment of approximately AED 14000 in total with 3 different banks. Now, he intends to come back to the UAE. Claiming refund from property developer for delay in handover

Q: I had invested in an off-plan property with a developer paying 30%. A year back, they offered me some discount to pay the balance (70%) in advance of handover mentioning it will be in May 2018, which I foolishly enough did. The official handover date was March 2018. So it is delayed by more than a year grace period and I have not been notified in any way about any delays. They are no longer responding to emails. The project shows completion of 82.18% at the land department website, but going by construction on-site, looks like it will take another 6-9 months, if not more. Questions: - Can I claim a full refund for money paid with interest? - How much time does the legal process take because I have been told by some friends that the developer can drag the case for years? - Any other option that I have as an investor to deal with a powerful builder? Q: Hi, A civil case is filed against a person who is outside the country. Can the court reach a verdict without the defendant`s presence? Also, would he has the chance to produce the MOU and support with details for the investigation of the case i.e. a bank loan default case?
