Inability to pay the rent due to the current Corona-virus situation

Q: The situation is bad because of Corona-virus. I couldn`t pay the rent. Two bank cheques have bonused. I asked the shop owner many times to give some relief but he refused. He has filed a case against me in RDC. I have been paying rent since December 2017. I could not continue paying due to the circumstances. What should I do now?

Q: I had entered into a private loan contract with an individual. The security cheque he issued bounced when I tried to cash it against the non-payment of the loan. I have filed a complaint with the police about a month ago, however, I am told that it is currently awaiting judgment. He`s been operating this way with a few other people as well, issuing bad cheques as security for loans taken. Q1. Is it normal for judgement on a bounced cheque to take so long? Defaulting on property purchase instalments due to COVID-19

Q: Hi I have 2 properties bought off-plan. Both are overdue. Both are above 90% completed & approximately 6-9 months overdue. I have been associated with the company for the past 4 years, and finally resigned as the company was not paying me since March 2020. I have finally got my visa cancelled as I had got a new job offer from another company. The reason which the company gave me is that I was working for one of the group companies, which was mapped as my cost centre by the company. My Offer Letter, Clearance Letter is from the mother company- as they were the one who issued me an offer 4 years back and gave me the visa of the affiliate. I have my pending dues/EOSB with the company and have to start the legal process, as they have not paid me. So, I need to put a legal case of mental/moral harassment which my family has gone through because of all this and get my money back from the company.

Q: I work as an admin assistant for a private school in Dubai. A teacher joined us on 17.03.2017 as an Art Teacher. On 5th December 2019, She travelled to her home country on the demise of her mother with no official communication to any member of the SLT and Principal. On 3rd January 2019, she sent an email to the principal for extending her holidays till 20th January on the ground of medical leave. She didn`t come back at all yet. On April 18th, 2020, she sent her resignation via email. My question here, since she is under school labour contract and she didn`t serve her one month notice period, is she eligible to the end of service benefits? إمكانية مساءلة الطبيب بسبب خطأ طبي أثناء إجراء عملية جراحية

س: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، من فضلك لدي استفسار عن خطأ طبي أثناء عملية جراحية إذ دخلت زوجتي العمليات لإزالة حصوة بالمرارة وتكميم المعدة، لكن الطبيب أخطأ في إدخال المنظار مما تسبب في نزيف نتيجة قطع في الأمعاء الدقيقة استلزم إيقاف العملية وعدم استكاملها للسيطرة على النزيف. أُوقف النزيف بحمد الله. السؤال: هل يعتبر هذا خطأً طبيًا يوجب المساءلة؟ وإن كان كذلك، فما إجراءات مساءلة الطبيب؟

س: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، جزاكم الله خير الجزاء على ما تقدمونه من مساعدة للآخرين! لي أخ يعمل دهّان تربطه علاقة عمل بأحد الأخوة السعوديين. استدان أخي منه مبلغًا من المال وبينهم كذلك حسابات خاصة بالعمل. في يوم طلب مني الأخ السعودي الحضور مع أخي لمعرفة الحساب عند أخي. كتبنا ورقة بها مبالغ جُمعت من عدة ورقات وكتبتها أنا بخط يدي. طلب من أخي كتابة كمبيالة بالمبلغ وطلب مني أن أضمن أخي. رفضت وقلت له أنا لا أضمن أحد؛ أخي أمامك يكتب لك أو لا يكتب لك فاختلفوا فيما بينهما. قلت لهم أخي ينهي الشغل على أكمل وجه وتستلم شغلك وتُنهوا الحسابات وبعدها نذهب لمحامٍ يكتب لك ما تبقى من مبالغ في صورة إيصالات. خرج أخي خروجًا نهائيًا من المملكة. وبعد فترة، قرابة 7 أشهر، حضر لي المدّعي يطلب مني تسديده، فقلت له هذا أمر لا يخصني. فأقام دعوى يطلب فيها إثبات الدين الذي على أخي وإثبات ضمانتي لأخي وأحضر شاهدين شهدوا بالباطل أنني ضمنت أخي، وهذا لم يحدث والله على ما أقول شهيد. حكم القاضي بعد 9 جلسات بإلزامي بدفع الدين للمدّعي علمًا بأنه حكم في الجلسة الأخيرة (9) وأنا لم أحضر الجلسة. ماذا أفعل؟
