What to do if an immigration consultant failed to fulfill his contract?

Q: I have paid money to the immigration firm in Dubai, they have not been able to provide me the TRC. I paid their fees plus an amount which they said is an investment in business and to be returned in a year`s time. Now both my contact people are not responding to me messages and calls. Visited their office where there is a receptionist and two other women but the two men whom I have been dealing with are not there. I wonder if they have fled the country. What legal options do I have now? Would greatly appreciate your views.

Q: An employee, after receiving his dues from the labor court, is again making false allegations that he didn`t sign a contract for salary reduction and has now approached the police and filed a criminal case against the Employer. During the labor court investigation, the documents were sent to a crime lab for checking forgery, but the employee didn`t go to the investigation officer and he was fined by the labor court for malicious allegations. The labor case is closed and the employee labor card is canceled by the labor ministry. He now went and made a false complaint at the police station on the same topic that he didn`t sign contract papers. Please advise, as an honest employer, How can I protect myself from these false allegations by the staff?

How to deal with a credit card case after transferring it from the UAE to the UK?

Q: Hi, I am a UK resident. I was previously living in Dubai until 2017. I was deported from Dubai in 2017 on a nonfinancial related case. When I was deported, there was an outstanding credit card balance on my Emirates Bank which I couldn`t pay off and now a UK-based company has filed a case in CCMCC UK courts to recover the amount. So my questions are: 1. Does the company in the UK require a Dubai court to peruse this case in the UK? 2. How can the UK courts accept a financial settlement case (credit card) without formally confirming if the case is filed in Dubai or the UAE? 3. Can the bank still peruse a case against me if I was deported by the UAE courts as I did not abscond or flee the UAE?

What to do if you couldn't get finance loan for the property you want to puchase?

Q: Hi, My form F on a property purchase stipulates that "if the buyer is unable to obtain a finance loan within 10 days of the contract, deposit cheque must be returned." In this instance, the seller delayed initial valuation viewings (so now past 10 days) and now valuation has come in less than the asking price, effecting my ability to borrow the necessary amount. How to get money from the employer failing to find assests in execution?

Q: Dear Lawyers, My dad had worked at a company for 33 years.Unfortunately, the company collapsed and he didn`t receive salary of previous 3 years and service money for past 33 years. He filed a case in labor and won the case in his favor. As his visa got expired, he gave fees for execution and left to home country. Now it`s two years and no money has been received. How can I move forward? When I inquired from the lawyer whom he had given the case, he said the defendant has transferred all his belongings to his children to show that he has no wealth. Any small piece of advice will be beneficial (Company is not a LLC).
