Q: Hi. I left my job with a Dubai based financial company (Not free zone) in March 2017, as I suspected my employer was taking deductions without my permission. I have asked for a final settlement of AED 68000 which they refused, and are asking me AED 16000 in return for bonuses paid. I was not able to work my 30 days notice as they blocked my office access, email and database. I have my first hearing due on the 9th of November, but my visa expires on the 18th of October. Police case for bounced cheques issued for rent

Q: We rented a business working space at one of the business centres. We used the premises for two months but the service was very bad. Moreover, our business was a startup, hence it didn`t take up. The business centre management had agreed on vacating the place within a week as per our deal. Now, they are not returning our security cheque. We were supposed to pay only AED 4000 for an early exit.
