Required notice period for resignation during probation

Q: I am on my probation period and I want to resign. But the company I work for won`t let me resign without giving 3 months notice period. Do I have a notice period while on probation?

س: لقد ارتكبت جنحة سرقة وتم عمل محضر سرقة في السوبر ماركت وتم حل النزاع ما بين الطرفين ودفعت (٣٠٠) جنيهاً وأُخذت صورة من البطاقة الشخصية ووقعت على ورقة المحضر. حدث هذا في السوبر ماركت وليس في قسم الشرطة، مع العلم أنه تم تهديدي وإنذاري مسبقاً أنه إن لم أدفع ال (٣٠٠) جنيهاً فسوف نذهب إلى القسم، ولكن تم دفعها في النهاية. السؤال هنا: هل ستظهر هذه الجنحة في الفيش والتشبيه؟ وسؤال آخر: هل هذا المحضر الذي تم عمله سيرسل إلى الشرطة لاحقاً ويتم التبليغ عنه؟

Now, after 3 months I have a job offer in another Jebel Ali free zone company. I had signed a standard JAFZA non compete agreement in 2011. I have told my former employer through emails where I am joining and I have received no objection from them verbally and a firm no objection through SMS from the signatory authority of the company. They are dodging giving the letter. Will it be a problem for me in the future?

Requirements for exemption from court fees in labour cases

Q: Are the labour court fees mandatory? Our lawyer filed the case for us in Fujairah and now the court wants us to pay AED 5000. We asked our lawyer to waive the court fees for the case but after 2 weeks, we followed up and the secretary of the lawyer said to us that the court cannot waive the fees. Our co-workers did not pay any fees in Abu Dhabi and Dubai courts where they filed their cases and now most of them received their judgment. Because of this, we are having second thoughts of our lawyer. There has been no progress since we provided our documents and SPA 6 weeks ago. Are court fees really mandatory to be paid? The secretary of the lawyer said to us the case will not push through if we will not pay. The thing is we did not receive 4.5 months of salary and the court fees are much of a burden to add. Q: Hi there, I am staying in my current apartment in Sharjah since 2011. I haven`t renewed my tenancy since July 2018 (almost 10 months now) since I lost my job and struggling to pay my bills and take care of my family. My building real estate has still not taken any action against me till now. But I`m worried they might go legally against me. Could you please advise what could happen if they proceed legally? Withdrawal request of funds not processed by a trading company

Q: From my advice, one of my clients put money in a trading company nearly 1M $ in his own account and in his 3 more sub accounts. Given the fact that a Muslim trader is forbidden by his religion to charge or earn interest, well, the solution to this dilemma is to trade the forex market with a swap free trading account. My client put money and started trading in forex. During these 4 months of trading, he had many deposits and withdrawal and during this period he lost 800$ hundred thousand in his trading style. After 4 months, when the client gave a withdrawal request of 400K $ in one a/c and 300k $ in his another a/c which all of total 700K$ withdrawal on 16th May 2019. They said in process and till now it`s 29th May 2019, and my client has not received any money to his a/c.

Bank request to convert the bank account after leaving the UAE

Q: Hi Harry, I`m lucky you are online. I`m a GCC citizen and worked in the UAE until a few years ago and went back home. I still have a housing loan which I have been paying instalments regularly. The bank called me and asked why my salary was not being deposited into my account for the last 3 years. When I told them I had left, they insisted I go to them and they change my account from a salaried to an international account and in the meantime, my account would be frozen. I`m worried if I go back they will force me to accept higher payments when the account is converted and I desperately need advice on how to deal with this. Can they put a travel ban on me if I don`t agree to pay a higher rate?
