The right procedure upon defaulting on a loan
Q: The bank has already filed a criminal case against my security check that they asked me to sign prior to taking the personal loan (after defaulting two EMI`s payments, because I resigned from my job and currently still unemployed). My outstanding loan is AED 58,303. I have already paid them around AED 65K, and the amount they wrote on the check is AED 124K. Now I am confused about where should I go first; to the police station or to the bank to make a settlement? Please advice. Thank you!

س: اشتريت شقة في مشروع على الخريطة في دبي منذ عامين لشركة معروفة ودفعت ٥٠٪ من قيمة المشروع كدفعة أولى وتبين لي حديثًا أن المشروع قيد الإلغاء وبانتظار قرار اللجنة من دائرة الأملاك والأراضي لتصفية المشروع. هل يُنصَح في هذه الأثناء بانتظار قرار اللجنة أم بإنذار الشركة المُطوِّرة للمشروع ومقاضاتها في المحكمة؟

الطريقة الأنسب لمقاضاة شخص مسجون في إمارة أخرى
س: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله، فتحت بلاغ ضد شخص منذ 3 سنين بشرطة دبي بشيك قيمته 850 ألف درهم إماراتي وهذا الشخص مسجون في أبوظبي وإلى الآن لم يتم التحقيق معه. هل يمكن أن أطلب تحويل الملف للقاضي ليحكم عليه غيابيًا؟ وهل من الأفضل أن أحول القضية للمحكمة المدنية حيث يتوجب عليّ دفع رسوم كثيرة؟ هل هناك حل لتأجيل الرسوم لوقت الانتهاء من الحكم المدني؟ أرجو منكم إفادتي بأفضل حل أضمن به حقي علمًا بأن الشخص باقي عليه حكم 4 سنين.

Now I have completed nineteen months in this company and my employer has given me a warning letter based on performance. The validity of a settlement agreement and recovering the outstanding money
Q: Can you help, please? I live in the UK. A £125k debenture that I had with a Family Office based in Dubai was not repaid to me on the due date of 31 July 2019. After numerous broken promises to repay my capital, I eventually signed a Settlement Agreement providing repayment over 10 months commencing in January 2020. The first payment was not made on the due date and the Family Office blamed the banking system. The payment eventually arrived today, some 10 days after the due date. I am concerned that the Settlement Agreement has already been broken, and that I may experience problems with future payments. Obliging an employer to extend the notice period to handover work
Q: Dear madam, I am working in a private firm as an accountant (sales executive in the visa). My labor contract is limited. It has already expired on 06 Jan 2020 and my visa expired on 24th Feb. I submitted my non-renewal letter on 28th Dec 2019 through the mail. After that, my company requested me to work till the end of Jan. Then they requested me to work till the end of Feb. س: السلام عليكم، أرغب في توضيح بعض الأمور بخصوص أتعاب المحاماة في قضية عقارية؛ بدءًا من الإنذار القانوني والتفاوض للتسوية أو رفع دعوى أمام المحكمة. كيف يتم تحصيل أتعاب المحاماة ورسوم المحكمة؟ هل تقوم المحكمة بتحميل الطرف الخاسر كافة أتعاب المحاماة والرسوم مثلاً أم جزء منها؟ وهل تتم المحاسبة قبل القضية أم عند كسبها فقط؟ هل يمكن أن تعين المحكمة أو دائرة الأملاك والأراضي بدبي محامي بالمجان لي؟ علمًا بأنني اشتريت شقة في دبي من مطور عقاري معروف ولم يتم الإنجاز وانتهى وقت التسليم المتفق عليه وقد يكون المشروع قيد الإلغاء.
