Asking to vacate the apartment 2 months before the end of the contract
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My tenancy contract is ending on 28th November 2021. My landlord verbally expressed his intentions to sell the property on 19th August 2021. Later on 5th September 2021, he sent me an email asking me to vacate the apartment at the end of the contract period (28th November 2021). Is this legal or does the landlord have to give me a 12-month notice while renewing the contract? What are my options in this scenario?

Non-payment of salary for 18 months. What to do?
Q: I have an unlimited contract since October 2019 with a company registered in DMCC Dubai. I did not receive any wage (basic salary, bonus, accommodation allowance, business expenses reimbursement) since March 2020 (18 months) and no health insurance coverage since October 2020. The company is just promising. The company decided first to reduce salaries by 50% due to Covid for three months (Apr-Jun 2020) with my acceptance. After that, they continued with the same reduction without my agreement. But even with that, no salaries are paid. The total amount due is above 500,000 USD. I was obliged to leave UAE in November 2020 because of no income. It has been agreed and accepted by the company to work remotely. I was also obliged to go back to Dubai at my expense every 6 months in order not to lose the visa. Now, I have a job offer in another country starting in Oct 2021. How to proceed with my company? How to inform them? Would I resign and file a claim later or file a claim immediately without resignation?

Q: I am an Indian expatriate resident in Dubai and I have a mainland general trading LLC company with a 51% local sponsor (my partner visa is also on this company). I want to convert it to 100% owned by me and my wife. An LSA agreement is not required in the case of an LLC company. Can I still have an LSA agreement to protect the interest of the sponsor? Refusing to pay the dues claiming that the employee caused financial loss
Q: Hello Sir, I worked in a private organization in Dubai. I canceled my visa 10 months back. During my visa cancellation, I didn`t get my end-of-service settlement. My original settlement amount was 108k, but after negotiation, they offered me 52K and gave me a letter stating they owe me 52K for my pending salary and end of service benefits. But after my cancellation, they always said that they will clear my dues shortly. I waited for 10 months, then I filed a labor complaint. During the amicable discussion with MOHRE, my owner said that he will not pay me because I made a financial loss to the company. I didn`t make any loss to the company. Can he make any fake documents to show his loss against me? Kindly advise on how should I approach the court to solve my problem.Sep 7, 2021

How to remove travel ban after closing a case for an accident on work site
Q: Good Morning Sir/Madam My name is S. and I am working in safety. There was a fatality at my site and a worker died. I was in Al Rashidiya police station and was released after two days after my passport was kept in the station. After two years, the police called us and informed us to collect the passport. The police prosecution didn`t give any other documents but released our passport and said no more case. Q: Hello, I represent a tech-based marketplace company registered in a Freezone, in the UAE. This is in regards to the UAE`s law regarding the ownership of code when there is no clause mentioned in the agreement. One of our products (web application) is being developed by an agency in the UAE. While we do have agreements in place, there is no clause regarding ownership of code.
