What are the legal consequences of resigning and starting a company in the same field?
Q: Hello, I have a question regarding the non-compete clause. Do note that this non-compete clause was only mentioned in the offer letter and not in the labor contract. The current situation is I am looking to start my own training consultancy. The nature of the business is to partner with companies that provide e-learning products, I will then consult with HR leaders in companies and advise and sell that e-learning software to them. The previous organization that I worked for was not a consultancy but rather had its own e-learning software that is being sold in the market. However do note that the contract I signed with them was released by their company in New Jersey, USA, as they do not have an office in the UAE. However, my visa was issued by their partner company, whom I had to sign a labor contract with as well as an offer letter that did not have a non-compete clause. I want to know If I will get into any trouble if I start my own company considering the above. Thank you

Q: Dear Sir, I have an outstanding loan and I have left KSA because I lost my job 2 years ago. The bank has used a legal firm in Dubai to contact me. Since I`m jobless for 2 years, I cannot afford to make payments. Can I pay with the new payment schedule, with a lower installment that I can afford? Q: Dear sir/madam, The real estate agent representing the landlord sent me an email 88 days before the end of the contract asking for a 26% increase (from 56k to 70k). How many times can the company appeal a labor court judgment?
Q: I am an employee of a mainland company in Dubai. I won a partial labor case of AED 145,000 then the company submitted an appeal and got rejected by the court. I got the final judgment and filed labor execution. The court sent a notice of 15 days which has passed and my company filed a petition to review the labor for my main case, and in the last hearing, the court asked me to reply which I will submit.
