Refund of money paid for realty in Ajman
Q: I purchased an off-plan property in Ajman back in May 2007. I was supposed to possess the property by the end of 2009. Till now, the tower has only two floors above the ground and it seems that the construction stopped at that level. I have paid almost 80% of the total value. Settlement of credit card debts with the bank to avoid imprisonment
Q: I have four credit cards which I am using last 5- 6 years. My financial situation has currently changed dramatically, and I am not in a position to repay the minimum payments. Until the last month, all the payments were accurate. All four credit cards entitle to use AED 100,000. As per my knowledge, the bank will file a case against me and I would like to know what actions can I take to avoid prison. In addition, I think I need a lawyer so that he can take care of my documents and release me if they will catch me. Could you please tell me what will the next step be? Q: I was diagnosed with a liver disease and the doctor took a liver biopsy and when I came to see the result of the lab I was informed that they did not send the sample to the lab on time as the lab was closed for one day and then they forgot to send it again and after a week they present it to the lab and they informed them it was too late as the sample is damaged since it is supposed to be sent within 48 hours. Termination of employment - bank accounts
Q: My final settlement was sent to my Bank. They have put it on hold because I have a personal loan and a car loan until I provide a salary transfer letter from my new employer and a stamped visa page on my passport. I needed a cash advance so I suggested that I will pay off the balance of my personal loan that they can release the settlement in my account. They refused saying that they can`t because of the car loan. I argued that the car loan is against a guarantee cheque and not against the salary transfer letter from my previous employer. They still refused to release the money. What are my legal rights? Tadawul Account early close out
Q: I`m a UAE resident and hold an account with "Existential Group" aka "Tadawul"... Their contract is fairly basic but they have specified payout periods etc yet I`ve been struggling with them since December to get money out, on the first of this month I always formally requested to close the account and have all monies paid out yet not a single person is able to comply with this instruction.
