Q: In September I moved from my apartment and as I have a contract with Etisalat I called them to ask if I can move my connection to other address. I have been told that this area is coved by Du so I have been suggested to close my account, which I did. Now after such a long time, I have received an email from Etisalat that my account was overdue by almost 2k Dh. I directly contacted Etisalat, I have spoken with a few people there without any resolution. Also, I have emailed to their customer care centre but till now my complaint has not been resolved. Q: Is it legal to hold the passport of the employee by a company? I didn`t get my passport back after stamping visa, they gave me just a copy of passport with the visa page. Unfair deduction from the gratuity upon resignation
Q: Three years ago, my employer provided me with a laptop to use for the work purpose. Some time ago, the company laptop broke down and I used at work my own laptop. Now, I am resigning from the company and my manager deducted the cost of the company laptop (the price they paid 3 years ago) in full from my end of service gratuity. He explained to me, that because the laptop is not repairable, I have to refund to the company its full price.
